Track Find
Mt.
Rainier, WA
We
were contacted by friend and fellow researcher Jeff Lemley,
who indicated that he and another man had found tracks on
Mt. Rainier near Elbe. We arranged to meet with Jeff the
following weekend and camp on the mountain.
The
trip itself was uneventful; however, we did find much sign
that could have been attributed to Sasquatch. On a hillside
near the road there was a trail of healthy fir saplings
which has been broken recently 8'-10' up. They were snapped
left-right-left-right, consecutively, as if something has
reached up hand over hand and snapped each one as it walked
along.
Also,
along one part of the road I saw what appeared to be foot
impressions with a longs tride going up the embankment on
the right. I asked Bob to stop so I could check the downward
embankment on the left side of the road. The impressions
there were 16" long and the stride, coming UPHILL,
was at least 3 1/2 feet between each foot, or 7' overall.
