Meet with Sasquatch
NW Group
Pierce County, WA

Bob
and I went up to meet the Sasquatch NW crew in Pierce County
(George, Jesse, Adrian, Rick, Susan and Ed). We arrived
at 2:30. Rick showed up first, then George. I walked down
past camp while Bob and Rick talked up by the gate. George
followed me. Something went crashing throughthe bushed onthe
right side of the road. I turned and saw that George had
heard it too... I motioned for him to catch up to me. The
noisemaker was off in the brush about 20 yards away. We
couldn't see anything but it comtinued to move. We could
heard it breaking branches loudly, and crunching as it walked
through the underbrush. I was really excited, couldn't believe
our luck, and was grinning like an idiot as we continued
down the road toward there the woman had had her sighing
two weeks earlier. We rounded the corner and I heard it
moving again. We both stopped and looked inthe direction
of the sound... it sounded REALLY close, like we should
have been able to see it right there in front of us. Just
then, a stick about 6" long and 1" in diameter
came flying out of the trees. It landed just outside the
treeline, quite aways away from us. It was to the right
and it drew our attention away from the location of the
breaking branches. Suddenly, to the left, we heard a stress-fracture
sound, like a tree getting ready to break. A log that was
lying down at an angle moved... teeter-tottered... THREE
FEET. We discovered later that something apparently had
stepped on one end and had broken the other end at the root
wad (see photos) causing that end to come flying up and
the other end to fall. We saw the end drop. The strangest
thing is that we should have been able to see "it",
but couldn't!
That
night, we heard bird calls like those we heard during the
day, but also exactly like what we've heard around us during
Bigfoot encounters.
Bob
walked away from camp to relieve himself and scared something
in the bushes right in front of it that ran off on TWO LEGS
through the thick underbrush. He came running back, zipping
up and freaked out. The next morning, there were obvious footsteps
mashed into the undergrowth there and a swath cut through
the brush where the thing had run off. The four impressions
were 3' apart in thick brush.
