Description of event: This is my brother-n-law's story. In 1985 or abouts , he was living with his grandmother in Acton, Maine in a small camp she owned. He heard something LOUD and looked out the window because New England has black Bears, this was not a bear ,it stood straight like a human and it was a brownish color. He peeked out the window and watched it walk by the windows and off too the side of the camp , It was grunting and had heavy breathing. He told me and his wife about how he could hear it actually walking. He swears to this day it was a APE or some sort. DJWA
