REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: Me and my buddies were scouting for the upcoming deer season we were in the woods for about 4 days. on the third day we were walking through a thick marsh following a rub line on the cypress trees. we came up to one of the many dykes on my property we jumped up on it to take a rest when we got a wretched smell of something in the distance, we all just dismissed it as some wild hogs.knowing there were some hogs in the area my buddy jon loaded his mossberg 12gauge with some slugs. we headed in the direction of the smell. upon arriving ast the smell we found one large decapatated boar around 120 pounds. after seeing this we all got kinda freaked out and headed back to camp. the next morning our curiosity got the best of us so we went back to the area of the hog, when we got there we heard crashing through the scrub brush, when we heard an un godly scream in the distance. we started sprinting towards the noise we figured saftey in numbers. after running about 100 yards into the scrub brush we saw a tall dark figure run over the dyke where we had just come from then he waded across the water which is 8 feet deep with the head and part of shoulders protruding from the water by the time we got back to the dyke there was no sign of it until about 30 seconds later a hog head came hurtling out of the swamp and hit jon in the side. at this point jon was very upset so he unloaded 5 rounds into that general direction. latter that afternoon we packed up camp and left.
