REPORT DETAIL
Description of event: We were camped just above the tree line, about a dozen of us soldiers training. A few small dying fires. I heard the cracking of small branches and stones maybe 100 yards below. It emerged from the tree line below us and walked on two legs toward the fires. I was afraid and didn't move. When it came closer I could see the form but no detail until it got very close, maybe 25 yards, it stopped and just stared at us for several minutes before turning and walking back down the mountain. I listened to it walk away until I couldn't hear it anymore. I asked quietly to a friend of mine laying next to me if he had seen that, he said "I don't want to even talk about it". I finally went to sleep but the next morning I overheard two other soldiers talking nearby about the sighting. I never talked about it to them or anyone else in the military because I wasn't exactly sure what I had seen but I will never ever forget the red eyes staring at us just outside the circle of light from the dying camp fire. I'm an old man now but I wanted to report this story to someone before I die.
