Husband and Wife experience strong smell near Galice

Location: We were on an old mining site in hellsgate canyon. We were about 1/2 mile up peavine mt road,on the right side. There was a terrible smell, like rotting trash, it was overwhelming. Then after a minute there was a weird noise. Almost like chubacca off star wars. The smell stuck around for a little bit. It was an intimate moment between my husband and I, and a bigfoot, I guess,wanted to see.

Description of event: My husband and I were having an intimate moment in the woods by the campfire when this smell came. The smell of something rotting. There are no houses around. We felt someone there,but saw no one. We yelled for someone to show themselves, but all we got back was a weird gurgling noise. like chubacca from star wars.
