Description of event: My dad was driving me and a car load of scouts to Blue lake for a camping trip - I was riding shotgun. We were negotiating the switchbacks when my dad became very animated and pointed into the forest straight ahead. He was definately disturbed. I didn't see anything as the place he was pointing at turned out of view. He explained to me that he'd looked into the forest and he made eye contact with something. He said he quickly got and eerie feeling and the being vanished. He said it looked like bigfoot, although he doesn't really believe in him. To this day if you ask him about it he will just say, "I saw something, but I don't know what I saw". One thing you have to know about my dad is that he is a quiet accountant that rarely gets excited and NEVER lies, even in jest. If it was anyone else I would have written it off but I could tell he was greatly bothered by the experience.
