Description of event: After leaving Gold Beach, we were on 3300 rd at Agness Pass at 3:20 AM when a large dark brown animal of unknown speices walked across the road in the headlights. The thing was very tall and heavy built. It was covered with fur or hair and plainly walked on 2 feet. It moved very fast and went up shale bank and then out of sight. We had been traveling this road for 3 months doing culvert replacement on China Flat Rd and had never seen it before. It's eyes glowed red in the headlights. All 4 of us seen it and was very surprised by it as it seemed to us. It seemed to be quite scared. We work for XXXXXX. We sure decided not to talk about it as that's a quick way to lose a job.
