Description of event: After a night of relaxing with a friend, I started walking them to the end of the road (approximately a quarter mile). At about halfway, I turned around and let her continue on her way to the car waiting. After splitting apart, there were sounds of coyotes off in the distance. I then noticed in the light provided by the car's headlights on the trees ahead, the shadow of my friend running towards the car. Seconds afterwards, I heard screams, which I figured might be our only neighbors in the area. After returning home, I spoke with my friend again over the internet. Her story was of something different. She stated that there was a creature of sorts in the bushes near the side of the road. This is what had been screaming. It had also thrown rocks at her, although she said that they were not being thrown at a high velocity, but that of a speed similar to a slow underhand throw.
