Description of event: Me and my dad have been hunting this area for over 10 years. In the last 5 years we have heard weird noises that woke us up in the middle of the night, loud crashes in the woods, weird smells, and large splashes in the creek. Recently my dad was elk hunting and he was sitting next to a tree for a while and a pine cone goes flying by his direction. When he got up and turned to the direction of where it was thrown from, he heard large crashes going away from that area. This area is very remote with very little hunting pressure and every year it is getting more remote because of the yearly growth.
