Comments on: Bigfoot’s head: pointed or rounded?

The one that I saw had a point at the back of its head, does this me a sagital crest? I’m not sure. I also don’t necessarily believe that these points on their heads are sagital crests either. The point may have just been the way this particular sasquatch’s hair grew, like a cow lick. I’ve read many reports where the head was rounded like a persons.

Maybe the ones that do have pointed heads are pure blooded sasquatch and the ones that have rounded heads are the result of human/sasquatch interbreeding. I don’t think that we can discount centuries of Native American stories of human abduction by our hairy friends.

I dont believe in evolution God created everything! but on these sasquatches now some view them as a real thing, others view them as something that may be connected to ufos ,fallen angels , thats why im trying with Automns help and others in the field get to the truth whatever it might be.

Well seeing as I am not capable of believing in Evolution I must deal only with the facts at hand. The facts are as follows……He is Real, The End…:) No but seriously the deal with the Conical head (Saginal Crest) is as like I stated earlier, I believe it is a trait that grows do to the enormous size of the beastie, not one as some have said due to gender. If that were true the female “Gorilla gorilla gorilla” should not have one, but they due so that throws the gender argument right out the window. I have been fascinated with the Bigfoot/Sasquatch deal ever since my encounter with them on a tv show on ABC some years ago. Until one is either bagged or captured alive all we have are speculations and or theories.

I agree with Larry I think theres a possibility of both rounded and conical. Its also very possible that one came from evolution and the other came from….???

James, thank you for that comment. I think most forget that there are many sub-species of most of nature. Just look at the many different types of deer and frogs, bear, elk, cat, dog, and humans there are. Why does Bigfoot have to be one of its own species? There could be several different types of Sasquatch and through the years of observing them, I have to say you are right, there are more than one type of Sasquatch. Thanks again for bringing that issue up.

This text of Questions are very interesting ,i take it this is just a sample of interviews with say about 10 people, but on the grand scale taking in the data how many are pointed as opposed to round? obviously some sightings are very brief and at night ,i liked what you said Automn you dont want to lead the witness thats important i thought maybe there was a common thread amongst all the reports that can give us an idea of what is out there at night spookin people,thank you Stan

I debated this subject in a slightly different form with a group of BF researchers a number of months back. I made a comment that the people who drew up the artist sketches on the Patterson film gave the creature a more ‘man-like’ face than an animal face. God,then you begin to wonder, is this really some guy jerking us around? Then to bring you back to the real world, you start to think how many guys do you find that are 6 and a half feet tall and bigger, that are out in the sticks, running around at night, nearly getting hit by cars, and so forth. Personally I do not believe that we have a variation in the Sasquatch species, you know like dogs. There may be a few variations mainly due to the environment. Rounded heads or pointed? You probably have both. The pointed, I would think, would be on the animals that are extra large and are probably male. This type of head would contain the large muscles requird for hard chewing. Smaller animals do not really need this. Does this make sense?
