Sorry the blog’s been sparse lately, guys and gals. I’m still working on this project, which I feel is important and therefore is taking priority at the moment, and the bigfoot world has been relatively quiet. (In other words, I didn’t feel that Vancouver’s 2010 Mascot was a stop-the-presses bigfoot media moment, though he’s cute and Uncle Peter sent Rowie one months ago…) The project is going as well as can be expected with as involved as it is and I anticipate having it completed in mid-May, perhaps sooner. Please bear with me.
If you’re a Facebook user, and you haven’t yet, feel free to add me to your friends list… I tend to keep that up to date with behind-the-scenes stuff that I don’t want to bore blog readers with. It’s a little more personal and gives me a chance to get to know each of you better. I avoid MySpace like the plague. It’s a meat market. *grin*
If you haven’t already, consider joining us for the Oregon Sasquatch Symposium on June 19th and 20th in Eugene. The conference is being planned by my good friend and OB member Toby Johnson. It’s our first genuine symposium and I’d love to see you… old friends and new! (Please direct any questions about the symposium to Toby at the link above. I will be giving a two-hour keynote speech at the conference on Saturday morning, and will be attending the rest of it, but that is the extent of my involvment. This is his baby. :))
This article came over the wire this morning:
Mike Conley’s Tales of the Weird: Hairy creature roaming Virginia mountains?
It’s nice to see someone in the media treating this as something other than tongue-in-cheek.
