Is “Bugs” really a man named Ed Hale?
As many of you may know, the story of “Bugs” had circulated in the bigfoot community since he called in on Art Bell in 1996. According to Bugs, he shot and killed two Sasquatches back in the late 1970’s in TX. For those of you who have not heard the story, you can listen to the audio recordings below. An astute Freeper posted a link to a very interesting YouTube video and wondered if the man called ‘Bugs’ that was being interviewed in the clip could possibly be the one and only Ed Hale.
Before I had even listened to the clip, the name ‘Bugs’ definitely sounded familiar. You see, Ed’s photobucket account name is ‘bugshale’ and a little more googling finds some comments about Hillary Clinton and oddly, an ad where Ed is selling some western wear.
After listening to about five minutes of the YouTube, I was convinced and shared with ZeN, and our two Ed Hale specialists neonzx and GreatGrey. They all agreed that it is definitely Ed.
According to this blogger at Our Strange World, Bugs has been identified. Is it true? Or is this another case of a hoaxer hoaxing a hoax? Is Ed simply claiming to be Bugs in order to take credit for the Art Bell story? Or is Ed Hale really Bugs?
