People have to realize this is a subject that is often ridiculed and scuffed at and when we get people manufacturing "evidence" it just makes it that much harder to show the truth of things. Thankfully there are investigators like Autumn that take this subject seriously and works hard at finding the truth under the many layers of "evidence". The man sounded very sincere on the phone, but when he arrived the next day it was obvious he was nothing but a pompass ass who was interested in nothing but his own fame and fortune. He treated us like ignorant yokels, and refused to leave when he was repeatedly asked to. I guess our experiences, and evidence were too good. In the months to come he managed to endear himself to everyone within a ten mile radius. Two women set their dogs on him. When no one would allow him on their property he accused us of turning them all against him (he needed no help). He came back to our place when he thought the men were at work, and threatened us women. One of our neighbor men was home that day, and showed him to his van with a shotgun. He hurled curses until he drove out of sight. For the next thirty years he harassed me and mine. When Valley Of The Skookum came out he recognized himself in print, but claimed (on Amazon) I was a mental case, and a meth freak... saying everyone had LOVED him. Thankfully, this "researcher" is now deceased. Be careful who you invite into your world. Check them out carefully before you make that phone call, or email post. There are good guys out there (my daughter is one), but there are a lot of whackos, as well. Do your research. However, I asked Scott Davis to examine the photo and he felt there were things about it that were rather odd. Because I have not had the opportunity to interact one-on-one with this particular witness, I'm not going to share the photo or Scott's findings on it at this point.
