People need to understand that there is a HUGE difference between an "artist" who interprets and applies his interpretation to art and a law enforcement forensic specialist, which is what Harvey Pratt is. He has 40 years of drawing forensic sketches for the Oklahoma Bureau of Identification. If you have seen one of David and Harvey's presentations you will quickly realize they are an entirely different breed of researchers, full time researchers. Harvey does not interpret the drawing and doesn't add or subtract to it when he's finished, it's the witnesses drawing, period. In Tribal Bigfoot there are sketches of suspects in crimes that Harvey drew according to the victims description. When the suspect was eventually apprehended, it appeared that he was in the room when Harvey drew the sketch, that's how accurate this guy really is.

If there were two people who absolutely nailed the description and account of what witnesses in Hoopa and Tribal observed, it was Paulides and Pratt. I would suggest that you go to their organizations website, North America Bigfoot Search and read further about where they are going with their research, it's quite refreshing..The historical record that is quoted in Tribal supports much of what Paulides and Pratt have documented.

Connie -

You added several good points that David Paulides mentions in his books (re: isolated tribe, etc.). He also describes a blood test where the bigfoot samples tested proved to be human. His book is very interesting.

You can get both The Hoopa Project and Tribal Bigfoot at www.nabigfootsearch.com.

Hello:

Again I just want to point out that Bigfoot has more than one face, so-to-speak. He can be depicted as very different from one region to the next. For examples:

In an area outside of Foster, OR a woman saw a Bigfoot watching her while she was fishing; she described him as being almost human looking except for the long hair around his neck and chest.

Some Native American Indian tribes say that the hairy people that live in the mountains were banished from the Indian Tribes and were sent away to live amongst themselves.

So, I think in both of those cases, the picture I have in mind is a large person with a lot of hair. We know that an animal cannot successfully mate with a human. But if the hairy creature is more human than animal, than I would suppose that giving birth to hairy children would be possible.

Anything is possible. So I wouldn't discredit Cover's story, or Pratt's paintings just because they do not represent what we want to believe Bigfoot to look like, because there are so many different varieties of humans, why not Bigfoot's?

Sincerely,
Connie

I understand your point of view. If you will read David Palides books, you will learn that David did not expect that outcome when he had Harvey draw the sketches. Yet, all the witnesses signed affidavits declaring what they said and what David has drawn is true.

To summarize Tribal Bigfoot, David interviewed a large number of witnesses in a 4 county section of Northern California. His interviwees primarily involved Native Americans. They are the ones that Harvey interviewed for the drawings.

David also researched tribal history for Bigfoot and "hairy wildman" stories. Many of the tribal histories included stories of Bigfoot abducting Native American women. I remember David mentioning one where the woman escaped, returned to her tribe, and gave birth to a very hairy child.

David's preliminary conclusion is that Native Americans and Bigfoot have copulated and the offspring have both Bigfoot and human characteristics. He limits his conclusions to the Bigfoot in the Northern California, area only. He acknowledges that further research is needed to validate his preliminary conclusion.

Don't judge Harvey by the Bigfoot art you see in his webstore Jesse. :) The work that he did in "The Hoopa Project" is interesting and better rendered than the stuff on his website.
