Description of event: Rip's not sure if this is a valid report or not. The man, Matt, was
camping near Saddle Mt. State Park, Feb. 11/12th, at the Jct. of Lewis and
Clark Road and the main park road (T6N R8W, sec. 31). Just before going to
sleep, he heard a loud rapping on trees, but could see nothing with his
flashlight. When asleep, he reported a peculiar dream; he heard strange
sounds in his sleep, and saw the tent being unzipped, when a "big black wide
face with no hair" appeared. The next morning there were no tracks and the
tent was zipped up. Said he'd never had the tent "heebie-jeebies" before.
Rip wonders if this might be some "mind-trick" a Bigfoot was playing, or the
tree raps might have been overly suggestive.
