Description of event: Sixes mining district nr Myrtle Point, OR According to the Lane County Leader, Cottage Grove, "wild man" of the sixes seen 3 times. Hairy, brod hands & feet, 7' tall. Shook a cabin, threw rocks at a man and had been shot at. (This is 20 years prior to the Ape Caves incident)
