Description of event: I would like to notify you of recent tree damage along the Willamette just outside of Salem, Oregon.
I was there today 4/23/01 and it looked to be fairly fresh.
The area is on the right side of NW Wallace Road as you leave Salem, in about the 4000 to 5000 block (estimate). The area is called the "Willamette River Greenway/Oregon State Park".
Follow the trail to the left towards the river. When you get to where the trail meets the river walk about 12 feet to the left and there are 4 trees twisted and broken above the 10-15 ft. level, also a possible track.
This was a BIG one.
