Location: It's out of bounds from a ski area called Cypress Mountain here in Vancouver. Its kinda hard to explain, but it can be reached by snowshoe (not sure if the trail is open for snowshoes or not but if you are serious, and wish to investigate I can provide more info)

REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: I was out of bounds with my friends at Cypress Mountain. We were snowboarding one Spring day just outside of the ski area. I took a break from the pack and walked over towards the edge of what would probably be the access road for the top of the hill, and I began to go to the bathroom. As I stood facing the reveen, I looked down and saw what looked like a man at first, but had a lot of hair. The hair was definately orangish, bordering on brown. I raised my hand into the air to wave, partially because I was embarrased and partially because I didn't know what else to do. It was about 100 - 150 feet away and standing on a stump. It didn't move at all. It just stood there as though it was trying to be camouflage. I called out and I said, I can see you! Hey...what are you doing...Hello? It didn't respond, it just stood there, like some sort of primal defense mechanism, it appeared to be frozen. While I was standing there I was trying to get my friends attention so they could see it while I was there, but they couldn't hear me, they were too far up the hill. I hiked back up the hill to take another run at your spot, and when I finished my run, I came back to the spot and it was gone. I can remember it quite clearly, it was really exciting.
