Description of event: In the mid 90s, a friend and his wife hiked into Indian Prairie Lake intending to camp and fish... The area seemed unusually quiet and still and they felt as though they were being watched...As my friend waded out in the lake to cast, his large, normally aggressive dog, followed him out, whinning and trying to wrap itself around his legs...They felt spooked and left after a short time...Several weeks later, their high school age son and some friends hiked into the same lake....They felt the same unease and once again their dog freaked out, this time entering their tent as soon as it was set up and refusing to come out....Determined to stay the night, the boys were harrassed by something which screamed after nightfall...Apparently, it also threw something at them...They broke camp and left in the wee hours....The details are a little hazy as the son is now in the Marines in the Mid East and can't be questioned about it....
