Description of event: I was hiking and camping in the Forks of Salmon Wilderness Area for one week looking for Bigfoot. One night, I was watching a hillside of blackberries when I heard two growls about one hundred yards from me. I was a gold miner and spent a lot of time in the mountains. I've seen and heard bears, mountain lions, boars, elk, deer, coyote, wild dogs etc, but I never heard anything like this before. Watching a food source worked out as I had planned. I didn't sleep that night with the adrenaline pumping.
