Description of event: we had just arrived in camp at odell lake and got set up for a 4 day fishing trip started a fire to drive off the masquitos and started hearing a loud echoing call kind of a howl and a scream mixed together that lasted about 5 seconds per call it seemed to be coming from above the railroad tracks that run along the west end of the lake this went on for about 15 minutes then i could hear a camper somewhere in camp screaming shutup shutup but it didnt and went on for another 20 minutes or so the next mourning my 13 year old son woke up before the rest of us and went out to start a fire at about 4 am before going fishing. later that day he told us he had heard the calls again while starting the fire and folowed by a pounding on a tree sound and another call in another location and then it stopped and we didnt hear it again the rest of our time there
