Description of event: The visit to this website reminded me of the loud scream, now that I have heard the Klamath soundbyte you have. My friend, my son and her four kids all heard it, too. Not a bull elk, not a bear or cougar. So LOUD, so resounding, so utterly terrifying. We all sat bolt upright in our cabin beds, bolt upright! My friend wanted to turn the cabin lights on! I said not to, as whatever it was would be able to see in! (We couldn't camp in tents because of high bear-freqency, but this most definitely was no bear. It came from a massive beast with a huge lung-capacity. We were freaked out. The next morning, everyone was talking about that ghastly scream/roar. It was July and terribly hot. It was around 1:00 in the morning. I'm surprised no one has ever mentioned this. Thanks for listening.
