REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: My father had decided to take myself and my younger brothers to hunt up in the northern part of the McCall, Idaho area. We had hunted for several hours when dad decided to go to this lake he had once been to long ago. It was about 4p.m. in the afternoon when we got to this spot. We exited our blazer and started to walk down this road to an open area. when we got there we could smell something that was almost like wet or soaked dog or horse. It was a very strong odor. We then decided to walk some more. We got about a quarter mile away from that local when we all(and I stress"ALL")heard this very loud scream not 100 yards away from our present local. We all were very agitated at this point. My father said he would check it out,as he walked closer to the spot where the sound came from, the creature screamed again, this time it was 1,000 or more yards away. It could have only been a matter of 5 or 10 minutes from the first one to the second. My younger bros and I ran to our dad and asked him if we could leave this place, as we were walking back to our blazer, we heard it again, but this time it was at the top of the ridge that we were planning to hunt. My dad and younger bros went back up to that very spot a year later and they all told me that they had found a pile bones that had no marrow inside of them. They also told of this log stringy hair they had found on top of this very large boulder next to the bones. They could all smeel the hair before they got close to it. They noticed no tracks in the immediate area, as the ground was to soft to see their own tracks. Well that is the storry as I remember it.
