Location: Well, this is my dad's sighting as I will explain further on, so I'm not sure of the exact spot.

Description of event: I recently found this site and got very excited. As a kid, my dad used to tell me this story that he claims is true. He was camping near the Ohio River in very thick woods with his cousins. They camped in a Trailer, and by themselves...they weren’t in any park or anything. At night my dad tried to go asleep in the passenger seat, and you know how big those windows are for the windshield of a camper. Anyway, he was trying to sleep in the passenger seat and all of a sudden heard this incredibly loud scream a little while away. He said at first it sounded like a super loud man's voice but was too powerful for a man to have done it. Then it kind of transformed into an animal scream (very low and hoarse by the way) and then ended in a very scary type of animal growl. This happened three times in a row right after another. He said that where they were camping was kind of mountainous and he could hear the loud scream's echo travel through the hills and mountains. He got so scared that he stared out of the windshield, straining his eyes to see what he'd heard. After about 30 seconds he jumped on the floor and the beds where his cousins slept. He tried to wake them, but they just rolled over. My dad got under a blanket on the floor completely covered by it and laid there in the darkness unable to go to sleep. After hearing this story, I always asked the same thing: What happened the next day? Did you tell your cousins about it? Did they believe you? But he says he can't remember. Recently, while searching for Bigfoot sites I came across Logan's Bigfoot Site which has various screams supposedly of Bigfoot people have recorded; I was listening to the screams. Then I clicked on Scream Howl and got exited. This scream (although it says may be a hoax) sounded exactly like what me dad had told me about all those years. I was excited and ran to get my dad. He came in and I told him what I had found. So, I was like: "Dad, Is this what you heard?" and I clicked the button to let him hear it. He instantly looked at me and his face went pale white. He looked down at his arms and He said: "Oh my god, I have goose bumps!" I asked him if that’s what it sounded like. And he said almost exactly like that. He was totally weird the rest of the night, and still couldn't remember what his cousins said about it the same day. http://bigfoot_res.tripod.com/main.html That’s the link to the site.
