I don't remember the exact location. It was at my best friends grandfathers farm. I could get exact location, but it has been a long time since i was there.
Description of event: My best friends grandfather always told us of seeing a big hairy creature crossing his garden and seein big foot prints there. We always thought he was fooling with us. We camped here often , but one particular evening we pulled in to camp with our truck music blasting (AC/DC). We could not even hear each other talk to one another. We got out, there were 4 of us, and started lighting our lanterns when we heard this enourmously load "rrrrr rrrrrhhh rrrraaahhhhhh". It sounded very close and was definately not human. It was right next to a nautural lake on my friends granddads farm with cypress trees (much like caddo lake in OLN program).We did not actually see it but, i know it seen us. It scared the living daylights out of us at 16yrs old. We left for a little while but returned to stay the night. During the night we were awoke by scratching on the screen. After we gained ourselves we went out to take a look and did not see anything. It was several years before i could even tell the story without tearing up and tingling all over. We are all woodsy guys and were never scared to go there. this was the most scared i have ever been in my life. Any way i was watching the Mysterious Encounters program on OLN last night about the sighings in 1994 in this area of east texas (not far from garrison in which there were some sightings). This was a long time ago for us but i believe it is very real and was unaware of these other sightings as we never heard of it again after this day in 1981.

Mike Hall been involved in researching Bigfoot/Sasquatch for the past seven years as a field researcher. He is a member of the TexLa Research Group based in East Texas Mike and is a Native Texan, growing up hunting and fishing....and like many researchers out there today was first introduced to this amazing creature at the age of 10, when he saw the 1970's cult classic "The Legend of Boggy Creek". From that point on, Mike was hooked and studied and read everything he could Bigfoot/ Sasquatch related. After High School, Mike Joined the United States Navy and served as an Aerial Reconnaissance Photographer for 4 years, stateside and aboard the U.S.S. Enterprises. After returning home, Mike went to College close to home at Trinity Valley Community College, where he was a part of the 1994 NJCAA National Championship Football Team and Graduated with a Degree in Kinesiology. Continuing his education at Stephen F. Austin State University, he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. Mike has spent the last several years as a field researcher with TexLa Research Group and currently works for the state of Texas. |
