Timothy Lake campground near Mount Hood
Description of event: i was camping with my family at timothy lake. late one night we were awakened by people at near by camps yelling saying that there was a bear or something outside. we then heard something running pretty fast. i can remember feeling the ground shake when its feet hit the ground. it ran not too far from our tent into the woods and it sounded like it might have ran into a tree because we heard a loud bang and the sound of a tree cracking and falling. we arent sure what it was though.
