From Medford,east hwy140 to FS Rd. 37, Left Fs.3705 about three miles, Little Butte creek .
Description of event: Wife and I traveled from K-Falls to a spring in the area, walking back to car heard two different screams coming from two different directions like they were yelling back and forth to locate each other. Both passed with-in 100 yrds on both sides of us. Met at creek and the screams ended. They headed South by Southwest.
I went back next day, found high tree limbs broken off , tracks at waters edge, went to area the first screams came from, found large rocks that where thrown around, found a large pile of scat,it was very large not a bear ,seen lots of that! Very dark ,grass, fat ticks,ants, small bones. Then I felt something watching me, and the need to run!
