Description of event: I was driving to work and this creature, about 8 feet tall, ran from the creek to the road, crossed it in front of me and vanished into the woods. Scared the crap out of me. It was big and reddish brown and fast. I contacted a local guy here who is into this stuff-which I never thought to be real -until now. I showed him the area. He walked around a while and then pointed out 3 very nice footprints, which he took pictures of and made plaster casts out of two of them. I didn't tell him about it for a few days and he even noted to me that the tracks where not fresh. I know is that this thing was very big and was very fast and it had to be strong in order to go into the woods and just vanish. That was a steep hill.
