Description of event: My brother and I were trail riding bikes for about 2 miles. We had parked our bikes because the trail was too steep. We were about to cross a creek nearby on foot when my brother grabed a hiking stick to walk down into the steep creek bed.

We noticed a horrible stench in the air, I told my bro that something just wasn't right, he agreed. Before he hopped down he saw a flash of black by a tree. When we began walking back there was odd scream. After we had heard the odd scream, we hightailed it back to the bikes. When we were going back towards the house, we passed a small pasture,and all of the cattle in it were bunched up in the corner bawling looking back were we had just been. We had stopped by a big pine to take a break from riding. My brother looked back and saw a huge black object stand up from under the tree were it had been crouched. We then took off towards an old barn, looked back and the creature had dissaperd. When we had made it back to the house, we told our aunt.
