Location: Our farm,not far from creek,alot of tree growth mostly cedar,after years of sightings and hearing "screams" not far from my grandfathers'sawmill.
REPORT DETAIL
Description of event: We had all heard the "yells" and even had some "chases" {that is it chases my dad, grandpa, uncle&cousin} things were more or less “quiet”. I walked into a "nest" while hunting deep in the woods, about15ft.round, something had torn down smaller trees and laid them in a circle around one cedar tree in the center Like an umbrella with a mat under it, a smell like sour water was in the air, there were no animals that would account for this, we don't even have bears around here. I saw only one half-track {toes only} that was the last time. Our history as a family with this thing had been all the way back to WW1, and a nest like this had been seen before but actually in a tobacco patch, nothing since but I will try to send in all our stories a.s.a.p only hear a "scream" once in a while anymore, but a lot more people have moved to the area since then. I didn't see "the critter" myself so I'll report for us all. But I have heard that scream.
