Description of event: I was living with my boyfriend at the time and his family on the Wind River Indian reservation in Fort. Washakie, WY.

Unfortunately, his sister's boyfriend ruined their housing arrangements because he was shooting a fire arm on Tribal Housing properties, so we had to move.

My boyfriend's step father happened to own some land and a small house further away from the nearest town, which was Ft. Washakie, about 18 miles away. The house was located in the middle of nowhere, with only a dirt road taking us to the property which lead on to other properties further back by the Little Wind River and Big mountainous hills. Neighbors were far apart due to grazing land, agricultural fields, etc. It was the only place to call home at the time, and we had to use well water from outside the house for bathing and for the toilet inside.

Anyhow, one night, my boyfriend, his twin sister, brother, and I were bored and wanted to get out of the house. It was about 11:00pm, we were all young teens trying to find something to do, so we decided to see which one of us could cross the wide irrigation ditch, and get to the top of the mountainous hills that was by the house. Once we got to the top, we could see afar over trees where other people lived way out in the distance, and we could see where the cliff edges dropped to the Little Wind River below from a distance. It was very moonlit that night, and everything seemed calm.

As we sat on top of the mountain, just chillin’, talking, I happened to glance down at the house, which was about half a mile to a mile away from where we were. I could see the tree branches sort of moving in the tree line that was on the east side of the house. Just then, I saw what looked like a tall person walk out of the trees. I turned to my boyfriend and said, "There's someone looking in our bedroom window, look!" Just as we were all looking, trying to figure out what was goin on, because I could hear my boyfriend’s brother word out, "It's the same height of the porch roof."

We all sat staring, scared stiff, and the feeling I felt at that moment was a silent fear because we all knew that from staring at it, this wasn't a person. My boyfriend’s sister started to get upset and wanted to get back down to the house because their mom, and older sister were in there, and we all began to argue amongst ourselves in what we should do at that moment.

Just then, I got a good view of whatever it was because it moved toward the south side of the house where the yard light was close. It must have not liked the light because it backed up by the side of the house again, then all of a sudden turned and sort of "long stridedly" sprinted into the trees. My boyfriends older sister opened the front door (southside) and their dog ran out barking at the tree line but did not pursue what was in the trees. Then, we saw the thing run in the field where there was a clearing before some more trees towards the river. As this thing was running, it didn't run like a man, it seemed to run slow motion, but was covering a lot of ground from wide stride movement, and it's arms were long, sort of slightly bent, running on two's, not four's. What I saw in the light for that moment was a "man-looking" thing because it had to have been 8ft. tall, and was covered in a light colored and dark colored hair that could have been gray/dark grey, etc. I can't pinpoint the exact color because of the distance we were. It also had a very thick build, and as it walked from the trees, the knees seemed a little bent with a long stride.

After we seen it run the opposite direction until out of site, we hurriedly ran down the mountain because we did not want to be outside with that thing! As we got in the house, and told them what we all saw, my boyfriends older sister told us that the pit bull start growling towards our bedroom, but wouldn't go in there, and it was barking uncontrollably so she opened the door to let it outside.
