Don't know the area but could probably get you back there. I rode up with a friend.
Description of event: We were preparing our rods to go salmon/steelhead fishing. We smelled a foul odor, cross between an outhouse and a skunk. We heard banging, like two sticks or rocks being smacked together.
We thought that was kind of odd and walked towards that direction. The smell and sound got stronger and we got more nervous. We stopped and talked about what if this was bigfoot. We spoke loudly trying to scare whatever it was. The banging noise stopped and we stood very still and quiet. We wanted to hear whatever it was leaving, but we heard nothing. After about 5 minutes, the smell was totally gone.
