Location:
Going south from Quilcene on Highway 101, we went right on Penny Creek Road. We took the partly paved road to the right towards the Big Quilcene lookout road. The road turned back to gravel for a mile or two. The road to the lookout cuts back and to the right from the road we were on. My ex and I went up here to get a Christmas tree. Coming back down from the lookout the road goes straight and far back down a long ways to connect to the USFS road back down to Penny Creek Road and then out to highway 101.

REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: Penny Creek Road. We took the partly paved road to the right towards the Big Quilcene lookout road. The road turned back to gravel for a mile or two. The road to the lookout cuts back and to the right from the road we were on. My ex and I went up here to get a Christmas tree. Coming back down from the lookout the road goes straight and far back down a long ways. As we started down that road to go home I saw a set of tracks going up the steep gravel bank above the road. The tracks were from something walking on two feet straight up and over the top of the three hundred foot high gravel bank. The tracks stayed on top of the gravel that sucked me in up to my knees when I tried to walk in it. (loose gravel). The tracks resembled human bare feet and my size eleven caulk boots fit inside theses tracks. I showed my ex wife but we had no camera to document these tracks. I saw it with my own eyes.
