Man's father recalls hearing an unexplainable noise

Description of event: I didn't hear this noise, it was my father that told me this story when he came back from a hunting trip in the early morning. He acknowledged that he didn't know what it was and it could have been a bigfoot. He would not report it because it would seem rediculous to him. But, from what I heard from him I believe it is a Sasquatch. It was very early in the morning and the sun wasn't even up yet. My father was on a ridge waiting for the sun to come up to spot any Deer in the area. As the sun started to come up the birds started chirping. As soon at the sun broke over the mountain to the East he heard the sound. As soon as the noise ended all of the birds stoped chirping and he heard an animal start running through the creek below. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up and he got a weird feeling and left immediatly. He described the sound as if you were in a large metal room and took a big table made of metal and dragged it across the room, metal on metal. The sound came from very far away, he said possibly the next mountain away, I don't know which direction.
